An accomplished consumer product testing firm, AMA Laboratories Inc. has three decades of experience in the profession, during which it has received several accolades, including being featured in Happi Magazine. Based in New York, AMA Laboratories Inc. recently wrote to Governor Andrew Cuomo offering to make personal protective equipment (PPE) at its premises, noting that there is a lack of such equipment across the state.
The organization, whose headquarters are 30 miles from New York City, highlights that its premises are unused due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, it has offered Governor Cuomo full use of 10,000 unused square feet in the building to manufacture PPE, including masks and gloves.
In addition, the firm notes that the building is ISO certified, as well as in good standing with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and also highlights that its 14 employees are highly skilled in numerous lab tasks. It also thanked Governor Cuomo, among others, for their continuing efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic
